OET (OET-LV) having_throw_on all the worry of_you_all on him, because with_him is_caring about you_all.
Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / metaphor
πᾶσαν τὴν μέριμναν ὑμῶν ἐπιρίψαντες ἐπ’ αὐτόν
all the worry ˱of˲_you_all ˓having˒_cast_on on him
Here Peter speaks of anxiety as if it were a heavy burden that a person can take off of his back and cast onto God. If this might confuse your readers, you could express the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [trusting him with everything that worries you] or [letting him take care of all the things that trouble you]
5:1-14 Peter ends the letter with final exhortations to elders (5:1-4), to younger people (5:5), and to the church as a whole (5:5-11). These exhortations are followed by final greetings and a closing (5:12-14).
OET (OET-LV) having_throw_on all the worry of_you_all on him, because with_him is_caring about you_all.
Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
