This chapter contains the first oracle that Haggai delivered from Yahweh to the Judeans who had returned from exile.Some translations set each line of poetry farther to the right than the rest of the text to make it easier to read. The ULT does this with the poetry in [verses 4](../01/04.md), 6, and [8–11](../01/08.md).
