OET (OET-RV) King Alexander heard all the promises which Demetrius had sent to Jonathan. They told him of the battles and the valiant deeds which he and his kindred had done, and of the troubles which they had endured.
BrLXX Καὶ ἤκουσεν Ἀλέξανδρος ὁ βασιλεὺς τὰς ἐπαγγελίας ὅσας ἀπέστειλε Δημήτριος τῷ Ἰωνάθαν, καὶ διηγήσαντο αὐτῷ τοὺς πολέμους καὶ τὰς ἀνδραγαθίας ἃς ἐποίησεν αὐτὸς καὶ οἱ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ, καὶ τοὺς κόπους οὓς ἔσχον,
(Kai aʸkousen Alexandros ho basileus tas epangelias hosas apesteile Daʸmaʸtrios tōi Yōnathan, kai diaʸgaʸsanto autōi tous polemous kai tas andragathias has epoiaʸsen autos kai hoi adelfoi autou, kai tous kopous hous esⱪon, )
BrTr Now when king Alexander had heard what promises Demetrius had sent unto Jonathan: when also it was told him of the battles and noble acts which he and his brethren had done, and of the pains that they had endured,
