Songs 95/A praise song

This is still a very early look into the unfinished text of the Open English Translation of the Bible. Please double-check the text in advance before using in public.

Readers’ Version

Literal Version

95:0 A praise song

95Come and join us in singing to Yahweh.

Let’s happily sing to our protector and our rescuer.

2Let’s thank him as we come in and face him.

Let’s sing praise songs to him

3because Yahweh is a powerful God,

and a powerful king superior to all gods.

4The deepest valleys in the earth are under his control,

and the mountain peaks are also his.

5The oceans are his because he created them.

His hands formed all the dry land.
