OET (OET-RV) It was told the king’s officers and the forces that were in Jerusalem, the city of David, that certain men who had broken the king’s commandment had gone down into the secret places in the wilderness;
BrLXX Καὶ ἀνηγγέλη τοῖς ἀνδράσι τοῦ βασιλέως καὶ ταῖς δυνάμεσιν αἳ ἦσαν ἐν Ἱερουσαλὴμ πόλει Δαυὶδ, ὅτι κατέβησαν ἄνδρες, οἵτινες διεσκέδασαν τὴν ἐντολὴν τοῦ βασιλέως, εἰς τοὺς κρύφους ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ.
(Kai anaʸngelaʸ tois andrasi tou basileōs kai tais dunamesin hai aʸsan en Hierousalaʸm polei Dawid, hoti katebaʸsan andres, hoitines dieskedasan taʸn entolaʸn tou basileōs, eis tous krufous en taʸ eraʸmōi. )
