BrLXX Εἰσελθὼν δὲ εἰς τὴν Ἰουδαίαν, καὶ συνεγγίσας τῷ Βαιθσούρᾳ, ὄντι μὲν ἐρυμνῷ χωρίῳ, ἀπὸ δὲ Ἱεροσολύμων ἀπέχοντι ὡσεὶ σταδίους πέντε, τοῦτο ἔθλιβεν.
(Eiselthōn de eis taʸn Youdaian, kai sunengisas tōi Baithsoura, onti men erumnōi ⱪōriōi, apo de Hierosolumōn apeⱪonti hōsei stadious pente, touto ethliben. )
BrTr So he came to Judea, and drew near to Bethsura, which was a strong town, but distant from Jerusalem about five furlongs, and he laid sore siege unto it.
WEBBE Coming into Judea and approaching Bethsuron, which was a strong place and about five stadia[fn] away from Jerusalem, he pressed it hard.
11:5 One stadia was roughly 189 metres or 618 feet, so 5 stadia was about a little less than 1 km or a little more than half a mile.
KJB-1611 So he came to Iudea, & drew neere to Bethsura, which was a strong town, but distant from Ierusalem about fiue furlongs, and he laid sore siege vnto it.
