BrLXXἸούδας δὲ ὁ Μακκαβαῖος καὶ οἱ σὺν αὐτῷ, παρεισπορευόμενοι λεληθότως εἰς τὰς κώμας, προσεκαλοῦντο τοὺς συγγενεῖς, καὶ τοὺς μεμενηκότας ἐν τῷ Ἰουδαϊσμῷ προσλαβόμενοι, συνήγαγον εἰς ἑξακισχιλίους.
   (Youdas de ho Makkabaios kai hoi sun autōi, pareisporeuomenoi lelaʸthotōs eis tas kōmas, prosekalounto tous sungeneis, kai tous memenaʸkotas en tōi Youdaismōi proslabomenoi, sunaʸgagon eis hexakisⱪilious. )
