FBV But look at what will happen. The Lord will take away everything they have, and knock down their strong defenses[fn] into the sea. The city will be burned down.
9:4 “Strong defenses”: literally, “power.” Alternatively this could refer to the Lord destroying the sea power of Tyre.
T4T But I, Yahweh, will cause their precious possessions to be taken away

9:1-8 This encouraging message told the Judeans that they had nothing to fear from their three most prominent neighbors—Syria (Aram), the Phoenicians (Tyre and Sidon), and the Philistines. All three were rivals of Judah; they were always trying to take commercial and territorial advantage. God said that their efforts would be in vain.

Here “Look!” tells the reader to pay attention to the important statement that follows. Alternate translation: “Pay attention! The Lord will take away Tyre’s possessions”
