ULT I will camp around my land against enemy armies,[fn] so no one can pass through or return, for no oppressor will overrun them, for now I see with my own eyes!

Most interpreters translate the Hebrew words as against enemy armies and some translate the Hebrew as a guard, and so translate the phrase, I will surround my temple as a guard.

UST I will protect my land, and I will not allow any enemy soldiers to enter it. No enemies will harm my people again, because I myself will be watching over them carefully.
