4 And _ camp against _ them and _ destroy DOM the _ produce_ ofthe _ earth/land until to _ go_ you ˊAzzāh and _ not they _ leftsustenance in/on/at/with _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ sheep and _ ox and _ donkey .
5 If/because they and _ livestock _ of_ their they _ came_ upand _ tents _ of_ their wwww [fn ] like _ swarm _ oflocust[s] to _ increase _ in_ numberand _ to _ they and _ to _ camels _ of_ their there _ [was]_ notnumber and _ they _ camein/on _ the_ earth to _ wasted _ it .
6 And _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) _ brought _ lowvery from _ face/in _ front_ ofMidyān and _ the _ people_ of_ cried _ outof _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)to YHWH 7 and _ he/it _ wasif/because the _ people_ ofthey _ cried_ outof _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)to YHWH on the _ causes_ ofMidyān .
8 And _ YHWH _ sent a _ mana _ prophetto the _ people_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ he/it _ saidto/for _ them thus YHWH he _ saysthe _ god_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) I I _ brought_ upDOM _ you _ allfrom _ Miʦrayim/(Egypt) and _ brought _ outDOM _ you _ allof _ house _ ofslaves .
9 And _ delivered DOM _ you _ allfrom _ hand _ ofMiʦrayim and _ from _ hand _ ofall _ ofoppressors _ of_ your _ all’sand _ drove _ outDOM _ them from _ before _ of_ you _ alland _ gave to/for _ you _ allDOM land _ of_ their .
10 And _ said to/for _ you _ allI [am] _ YHWH god _ of_ your _ all’snot you _ all_ must_ fearDOM the _ gods_ ofthe _ ʼAmorī whom you _ all[are] _ dwellingin/on/at/with _ land _ of_ them and _ not you _ all_ have_ listenedin/on/at/with _ voice _ of_ me .
11 and _ the _ messenger_ of_ came of _ YHWH and _ he/it _ sat_ down//remained//livedunder the _ oak which in/on/at/with _ ˊĀfə rāh which belonged _ to_ Yōʼāsh/(Joash) the _ ʼAⱱī-ezrite and _ Gidˊōn his/its _ son [was] _ beating_ outwheat(s) in/on/at/with _ winepress to _ hide from _ face/in _ front_ ofMidyān .
12 And _ appeared to _ him/it the _ messenger_ of[fn ] [fn ] [fn ] of _ YHWH and _ he/it _ saidto _ him/it YHWH with _ you Oh _ mighty_ [man]_ ofthe _ mighty .

16 And _ he/it _ saidto _ him/it YHWH if/because I _ will_ bewith _ you and _ strike _ downDOM Midyān as _ man one .
17 And _ he/it _ saidto _ him/it if please I _ have_ foundfavour in/on/at/with _ eyes _ of_ your and _ show to/for _ me a _ signthat _ you [are] _ speakingwith _ me .

21 And _ the _ messenger_ of_ reached _ outof _ YHWH DOM the _ end_ ofthe _ staff which in _ his/its _ hand and _ touched in/on/at/with _ meat and _ in/on/at/with _ unleavened _ breadand _ sprang _ upthe _ fire from the _ rock and _ she/it _ ateDOM the _ meat and _ DOM the _ unleavened _ cakesand _ messenger _ ofYHWH he _ wentfrom _ sight _ of_ his .

30 And _ the _ men_ of_ they _ saidthe _ city to Yōʼāsh bring _ outDOM son _ of_ your and _ die if/because he _ has_ torn_ downDOM the _ altar_ ofthe _ Baˊal and _ because/when he _ has_ cut_ downthe _ ʼₐshērāh which on/upon/above _ him/it .
31 And _ Yōʼāsh _ he/it _ saidto _ all/each/any/every [those] _ whothey _ stoodon/upon/above _ him/it you _ allcontend for _ the_ Baˊal or you _ allsave DOM _ him [the _ one]_ whohe _ will_ conduct_ a_ caseto _ him/it he _ will_ be_ put_ to_ deathuntil the _ morning if [is] _ a_ godhe let _ him_ conduct_ a_ caseto _ him/it if/because someone _ has_ torn_ downDOM altar _ of_ his .
32 And _ he/it _ calledto _ him/it in/on/at/with _ day (the) _ that Jerub-Baˊal to _ say let _ him_ conduct_ a_ casein/on/over _ him/it the _ Baˊal if/because he _ has_ torn_ downDOM altar _ of_ his .
33 and _ all Midyān and _ ˊAmālēqites and _ the _ sons[the] _ eastthey _ gatheredtogether and _ crossed _ overand _ camped in/on/at/with _ valley _ ofYizrə ˊʼēl /(Jezreel) .
34 And _ spirit of _ YHWH it _ clothedDOM Gidˊōn and _ blew in/on/at/with _ trumpet and _ called _ out[fn ] [fn ] [fn ] ʼAⱱīˊezr follow _ him .
35 And _ messengers he _ sentin _ all Mə nashsheh and _ called _ out[fn ] [fn ] [fn ] also it follow _ him and _ messengers he _ sentin/on/at/with _ ʼĀshēr and _ in/on/at/with _ Zə ⱱulun and _ in/on/at/with _ Naftālī and _ went _ upto _ meet _ them .
36 And _ Gidˊōn _ he/it _ saidto the _ ʼElohīm if it _ is_ you [will _ be]_ deliveringin/on/at/with _ hand _ of_ my DOM Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) just _ as you _ have_ spoken37 Here I [am] _ placingDOM the _ fleece_ ofthe _ wool in/on/at/with _ threshing _ floorif dew it _ will_ beon the _ fleece by _ herself _ ofand _ on all _ ofthe _ earth/land dryness and _ know if/because _ thatyou _ will_ deliverin/on/at/with _ hand _ of_ my DOM Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) just _ as you _ have_ spoken38 And _ he/it _ wasso and _ rose _ earlyin _ next _ morningand _ squeezed DOM the _ fleece and _ wrung _ outdew from the _ fleece the _ fullness_ ofthe _ bowl water .
39 And _ Gidˊōn _ he/it _ saidto the _ ʼElohīm not anger _ of_ your let _ it_ burnin/on/at/with _ me and _ speak only the _ one _ morelet _ me_ put_ to_ the_ testplease only the _ time//this _ timein/on/at/with _ fleece let _ it_ beplease dryness to the _ fleece by _ herself _ ofand _ on all _ ofthe _ earth/land let _ it_ bedew .
40 And _ god _ he/it _ madeso in/on/at/with _ night (the) _ that and _ he/it _ wasdryness to the _ fleece by _ herself _ ofand _ on all _ ofthe _ earth/land it _ wasdew .
