4 And _ answered the _ man the _ Lēviyyiy the _ husband_ ofthe _ woman the _ murdered and _ said the _ Giⱱˊāh _ to which belongs _ to_ Binyāmīn I _ cameI and _ concubine _ of_ my to _ spend _ the_ night5 And _ rose _ upagainst _ me the _ citizens_ ofthe _ Giⱱˊāh and _ surrounded because _ of_ me DOM the _ house night DOM _ me they _ intendedto _ kill and _ DOM concubine _ of_ my they _ abusedand _ died .
6 And _ took in/on/at/with _ concubine _ of_ my and _ cut _ intopieces_ her and _ sent _ her in _ all the _ land_ ofthe _ inheritance_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) if/because they _ have_ donewickedness and _ outrage in/on/at/with _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) .
7 Here all _ of_ you _ allOh _ people_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) give to/for _ you _ alla _ wordand _ counsel here .
8 And _ all _ of_ he/it _ rose_ upthe _ people as _ man one to _ say not we _ will_ goanyone to _ tent _ of_ his and _ not we _ will_ departanyone to _ house _ of_ his .
9 And _ now this the _ thing which we _ will_ doto _ the_ Giⱱˊāh on/upon _ it(f) in/on/at/with _ lot .

11 And _ gathered every _ of(the) _ man_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) to the _ city as _ man one united .
12 and _ the _ tribes_ of_ sent of _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)men in _ all the _ tribes_ ofBinyāmīn to _ say what the _ wickedness the _ this which it _ has_ happenedin/on/at/with _ you _ all13 And _ now give _ upDOM the _ men sons _ ofworthlessness who in/on/at/with _ Giⱱˊāh and _ put _ todeath_ them and _ purge evil from _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ not they _ were_ willing[fn ] [fn ] of _ Binyāmīnto _ listen in/on/at/with _ voice _ offellow _ of_ their the _ people_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) .
14 And _ the _ descendants_ of_ came _ togetherof _ Binyāmīnfrom the _ cities the _ Giⱱˊāh _ to to _ go _ outto _ the_ battle with the _ people_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) .
15 And _ mustered the _ descendants_ ofBinyāmīn in _ the_ day (the) _ that from _ the _ cities twenty and _ six thousand man [who] _ drewa _ swordto/for _ aside from _ inhabitants _ ofthe _ Giⱱˊāh [who] _ they_ were_ musteredseven hundred(s) man chosen .
16 From _ all the _ troops the _ this seven hundred(s) man chosen impeded _ ofthe _ hand_ ofright _ of_ him all _ ofthis [was] _ slingingin/on/at/with _ stone to the _ hair and _ not he _ missed17 and _ men _ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) they _ were_ musteredto/for _ apart from _ Binyāmīn four hundred(s) thousand man [who] _ drewa _ swordall _ ofthis [was] _ man_ ofwar .
18 And _ arose and _ went _ upBēyt- el and _ inquired in/on/at/with _ god and _ the _ people_ of_ they _ saidof _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)who will _ he_ go_ upto/for _ ourselves in/on/at/with _ first to _ the_ battle with the _ descendants_ ofBinyāmīn and _ YHWH _ he/it _ saidYə hūdāh/(Judah) in/on/at/with _ first .
19 And _ the _ people_ of_ got _ upof _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)in/on/at/with _ morning and _ encamped on the _ Giⱱˊāh .
20 and _ the _ man_ of_ he/it _ went_ outof _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)to _ the_ battle with Binyāmīn and _ drew _ upwith _ them the _ man_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) battle to the _ Giⱱˊāh .
21 And _ the _ descendants_ of_ they _ went_ outof _ Binyāmīnfrom the _ Giⱱˊāh and _ struck _ downin/on/at/with _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) in _ the_ day (the) _ that two and _ twenty thousand man ground _ on .
22 And _ encouraged the _ troops the _ man_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ again to _ formed _ linebattle in/on/at/with _ place where they _ had_ deployedthere in _ the_ day the _ first .
23 And _ the _ people_ of_ went _ upof _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)and _ wept to _ (the) _ face_ of/in_ front_ of/beforeYHWH until the _ evening and _ inquired in/on/at/with _ master to _ say again to _ draw _ nearto _ the_ battle with the _ descendants_ ofBinyāmīn my _ brother/kindred and _ YHWH _ he/it _ saidgo _ upto _ him/it .
24 and _ the _ people_ of_ advanced of _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)to the _ descendants_ ofBinyāmīn in _ the_ day the _ second .
25 And _ Binyāmīn _ he/it _ went_ outto _ meet _ them from the _ Giⱱˊāh in _ the_ day the _ second and _ struck _ downin/on/at/with _ sons _ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) again eight- _ ofteen thousand man ground _ to all _ ofthese [were] _ drawers_ ofa _ sword26 And _ all _ of_ went _ upthe _ people_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ all the _ army and _ they _ cameBēyt- el and _ wept and _ they _ livedthere to _ (the) _ face_ of/in_ front_ of/beforeYHWH and _ fasted in/on/at/with _ day (the) _ that until the _ evening and _ offered burnt _ offeringsand _ fellowship _ offeringsto _ (the) _ face_ of/in_ front_ of/beforeYHWH 27 And _ the _ people_ of_ inquired of _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)in/on/at/with _ LORD and _ there the _ ark_ ofthe _ covenant_ ofthe _ ʼElohīm in _ the_ days the _ those .
28 And _ Pinḩāş the _ son_ ofʼElˊāzār the _ son_ ofron [was] _ standingbefore _ face/front _ it in _ the_ days the _ those to _ say shall _ I_ repeatagain to _ go _ outto _ the_ battle with the _ descendants_ ofBinyāmīn my _ brother/kindred or will _ I_ ceaseand _ YHWH _ he/it _ saidgo _ upif/because tomorrow give _ them in/on/at/with _ hand _ of_ your .
29 And _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) _ he/it _ assignedambushers to the _ Giⱱˊāh round _ about30 and _ the _ people_ of_ went _ upof _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)against the _ descendants_ ofBinyāmīn in _ the_ day the _ third and _ took _ up_ positionsagainst the _ Giⱱˊāh as _ time in/on/at/with _ time .
31 And _ the _ descendants_ of_ they _ went_ outof _ Binyāmīnto _ meet the _ people they _ were_ drawn_ awayfrom the _ city and _ began to _ inflict on _ the _ troops fatally _ woundedas _ time in/on/at/with _ time in/on/at/with _ highways which one [is] _ going_ upBēyt- el and _ other Giⱱˊāh _ to in _ the_ field about _ thirty man in/on/at/with _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) .
32 And _ the _ descendants_ of_ they _ saidof _ Binyāmīn[are] _ defeatedthey before _ face/front _ us as _ in/on/at/with _ first and _ the _ sonsof _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)they _ saidlet _ us_ fleeand _ draw _ away_ them from the _ city to the _ highways .
33 And _ all/each/any/every (the) _ man_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) they _ rosefrom _ places _ of_ their and _ took _ up_ positionsin/on/at/with _ Baˊal- tamar and _ ambush _ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) [was] _ bursting_ forthout _ of_ place _ of_ their from _ west _ ofGeⱱaˊ .
34 And _ they _ cameagainst _ against against _ the_ Giⱱˊāh ten _ ofthousand(s) man chosen from _ all Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ the _ battle it _ was_ heavyand _ they not they _ knewif/because _ that[was] _ about_ to_ touchupon _ them the _ disaster .
35 and _ YHWH _ defeated DOM Binyāmīn to _ (the) _ face_ of/in_ front_ of/beforeYisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ the _ people_ of_ destroyed of _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)in/on/at/with _ Binyāmīn in _ the_ day (the) _ that twenty and _ five thousand and _ one _ hundredman all _ ofthese [was _ one_ who]_ drewa _ sword36 And _ the _ descendants_ of_ they _ sawof _ Binyāmīnif/because _ thatthey _ were_ defeatedand _ the _ man_ of_ gave of _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)place to _ Binyāmīn if/because they _ trustedto the _ ambush whom they _ had_ setagainst the _ Giⱱˊāh .
37 And _ the _ ambush they _ made_ hasteand _ rushed against the _ Giⱱˊāh and _ advanced the _ men _ in_ ambushand _ put DOM all _ ofthe _ city to _ edge _ of[the] _ sword38 And _ the _ agreement [which] _ it_ belongedfor _ men _ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) with the _ ambush [was] _ do_ muchthat _ sent _ up_ they the _ rising_ ofthe _ smoke from the _ city .
39 And _ the _ man_ of_ turn of _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)in/on/at/with _ battle and _ Binyāmīn it _ beganto _ inflict fatally _ woundedin/on/at/with _ men _ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) about _ thirty man if/because they _ saidsurely totally _ (defeated)[is] _ defeatedit before _ face/front _ us as _ the_ battle the _ first .
40 And _ the _ cloud _ of_ smokeit _ beganto _ rise from the _ city a _ pillar_ ofsmoke and _ Binyāmīn _ looked behind _ them and _ see/lo/see it _ went_ upthe _ entirety_ ofthe _ city the _ heaven _ to .
41 And _ men _ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) he _ turnedand _ the _ man_ of_ dismayed of _ Binyāmīnif/because he _ sawif/because _ thatit _ had_ touchedon/upon/above _ him/it the _ disaster .
42 And _ retreated to _ (the) _ face_ of/in_ front_ of/beforethe _ man_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) to the _ way_ ofthe _ wilderness and _ the _ battle overtook _ them and _ which out _ of_ the _ cities [were] _ destroyingDOM _ them in/on/at/with _ midst _ of_ them .
43 They _ surroundedDOM Binyāmīn pursued _ them rest trod _ down_ them to opposite the _ Giⱱˊāh toward _ rise _ of[the] _ sun44 And _ they _ fellfrom _ Binyāmīn eight- teen thousand man DOM all _ ofthese [were] _ men_ ofstrength .
45 And _ turned and _ fled the _ wilderness _ toward to the _ rock_ ofthe _ Rimmōn and _ cut _ down_ them in/on/at/with _ highways five _ ofthousand(s) man and _ pursued after _ them to Gidˊom and _ struck _ downfrom _ him/it two _ thousandman .
46 And _ all _ of_ he/it _ wasthe _ fell of _ Binyāmīn [were] _ twentyand _ five thousand man a _ sword[who] _ drewin _ the_ day (the) _ that DOM all _ ofthese [were] _ men_ ofstrength .
47 And _ turned and _ fled the _ wilderness _ toward to the _ rock_ ofthe _ Rimmōn six hundred(s) man and _ they _ livedin/on/at/with _ rock _ ofRimmōn four months .
48 And _ men _ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) they _ turned_ backagainst the _ descendants_ ofBinyāmīn and _ struck _ them with _ edge _ of[the] _ swordfrom _ city _ ofsoundness unto animal unto every _ ofthe _ found also all _ ofthe _ cities the _ found they _ sentin/on/at/with _ fire .
