16 And_now if in_faithfulness and_in_integrity you(pl)_have_acted and_you(pl)_have_made_king DOM ʼAⱱīmelek and_if good you(pl)_have_done with Jerub-Baˊal and_with house_of_his and_if according_to_the_dealing_of his_hands_of_his you(pl)_have_done to_him/it.
17 That he_fought father_of_my on_you(pl) and_he_threw DOM life_of_his from_in_front and_he_delivered you(pl) from_the_hand_of Midyān.
18 And_you(pl) you(pl)_have_risen_up on the_house_of my_father_of_my the_day and_you(pl)_have_killed DOM sons_of_his seventy man on stone one and_you(pl)_have_made_king DOM ʼAⱱīmelek the_son_of his_female_slave_of_his over the_citizens_of Shəkem if/because brother_of_is_your(pl) he.
19 And_if in_faithfulness and_in_integrity you(pl)_have_acted with Jerub-Baˊal and_with house_of_his the_day the_this rejoice in_ʼAⱱīmelek and_let_him_rejoice also he in_you(pl).
20 And_if not let_it_go_out a_fire from_ʼAⱱīmelek and_let_it_consume DOM the_citizens_of Shəkem and_DOM Bēyt Millōʼ and_let_it_go_out a_fire from_the_citizens_of Shəkem and_from_household millo and_let_it_consume DOM ʼAⱱīmelek.
21 And_ Yōtām/(Jotham) _he_fled and_he_ran_away and_he/it_went to_Bəʼēr and_he/it_sat_down//remained//lived there from_face/in_front_of ʼAⱱīmelek his/its_brother.
22 and_ ʼAⱱīmelek _he_ruled over Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) three years.
23 And_ god _he_sent a_spirit evil between ʼAⱱīmelek and_between the_citizens_of Shəkem and_ the_citizens_of _they_dealt_treacherously of_Shəkem with_ʼAⱱīmelek.
24 To_come the_violence_of seventy the_sons_of Jerub-Baˊal and_blood_of_their to_put on ʼAⱱīmelek brother_of_their who he_killed them and_on the_citizens_of Shəkem who they_strengthened DOM hands_of_his to_kill DOM brothers_of_his.

28 And_he/it_said Gaˊal the_son_of ˊEⱱed who is_ʼAⱱīmelek and_who is_Shəkem (cmp) we_will_serve_him not is_he_the_son_of Jerub-Baˊal and_is_Zəⱱul deputy_of_his serve DOM the_men_of Ḩₐmōr the_father_of Shəkem and_why will_we_serve_him we.

32 And_now night arise you and_the_people which is_with_you and_lie_in_wait in_field.
33 And_it_was in_morning just_as_rises the_sun you_will_rise_early and_you_will_make_a_raid on the_city and_BEHOLD/LO/SEE he and_the_people which with_him/it are_going_out against_you and_you_will_do for_him/it just_as it_will_find hand_of_your.
34 and_ ʼAⱱīmelek _he/it_rose_up and_all the_people which with_him/it night and_they_lay_in_wait on Shəkem four companies.
35 And_ Gaˊal _he/it_went_out the_son_of ˊEⱱed and_he_stood the_entrance_of the_gate_of the_city and_ ʼAⱱīmelek _he/it_rose_up and_the_people which with_him/it from the_ambush.
36 And_he/it_saw Gaˊal DOM the_people and_he/it_said to Zəⱱul THERE a_people is_coming_down from_the_tops_of the_mountains and_he/it_said to_him/it Zəⱱul DOM the_shadow_of the_mountains you are_seeing like_men.
37 and_he_repeated again Gaˊal to_speak and_he/it_said THERE a_people are_coming_down from_with the_center_of the_earth/land and_a_company one is_coming from_the_direction_of the_great_tree_of the_soothsayer.
38 And_he/it_said to_him/it Zəⱱul where then mouth_of_is_your Oh_you_who you_said who is_ʼAⱱīmelek (cmp) we_will_serve_him not is_this the_people which you_rejected in/on/over_him/it go_out please now and_fight in/on/over_him/it.
39 and_ Gaˊal _he/it_went_out to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before the_citizens_of Shəkem and_he_fought against_ʼAⱱīmelek.
40 And_he_pursued_him ʼAⱱīmelek and_he_fled from_before_of_him and_they_fell those_fatally_wounded many to the_entrance_of the_gate.
41 And_ ʼAⱱīmelek _he/it_sat_down//remained//lived at_(the)_Arumah and_ Zəⱱul _he/it_drove_out DOM Gaˊal and_DOM brothers_of_his from_dwelling at_Shəkem.
42 And_he/it_was from_the_next_day and_he/it_went_out the_people the_field and_people_told to_ʼAⱱīmelek.
43 And_he/it_took DOM the_people and_he_divided_them into_three companies and_he_lay_in_wait in_the_field and_he/it_saw and_BEHOLD/LO/SEE the_people was_going_out from the_city and_he/it_rose_up on_them and_he_attacked_them.
44 And_ʼAⱱīmelek and_the_companies which with_him/it they_made_a_raid and_they_stood the_entrance_of the_gate_of the_city and_the_two_of the_companies they_made_a_raid on all_of those_who in_the_field and_they_attacked_them.
45 And_ʼAⱱīmelek was_fighting against_city all_of the_day (the)_that and_he_captured DOM the_city and_DOM the_people which was_in_it he_killed and_he_pulled_down DOM the_city and_he_sowed_it salt.
46 and_ all_of _they_heard the_citizens_of the_tower_of Shəkem and_they_came into the_underground_chamber_of the_house_of ʼĒl- Berith.
47 And_it_was_told to_ʼAⱱīmelek if/because_that they_had_gathered_together all_of the_citizens_of the_tower_of Shəkem.
48 And_ ʼAⱱīmelek _he/it_ascended the_mountain_of Tsalmōn/(Zalmon) he and_all the_people which with_him/it and_ ʼAⱱīmelek _he/it_took DOM the_axes in_his/its_hand and_he_cut_off a_branch_of wood(s) and_he_lifted_it_up and_he/it_assigned on shoulder_of_his and_he/it_said to the_people which with_him/it whatever you(pl)_have_seen I_have_done hurry do like_me.
49 And_they_cut_off also all_of the_people everyone branch_of_his_own and_they_went after ʼAⱱīmelek and_they_put_them over the_underground_chamber and_they_set_on_fire over_them DOM the_underground_chamber with_fire and_they_died also all_of the_men_of the_tower_of Shəkem about_a_thousand man and_woman.
50 and_ ʼAⱱīmelek _he/it_went to Tēⱱēʦ and_he_encamped at_Tēⱱēʦ and_he_captured_it.
51 And_a_tower_of strength it_was in_the_middle_of the_city and_they_fled to_(to) all_of the_men and_the_women and_all/each/any/every the_citizens_of the_city and_they_shut_the_door behind_them and_they_went_up on the_roof the_tower.
52 And_ ʼAⱱīmelek _he_came to the_tower and_he_fought in/on/over_him/it and_he_drew_near to the_entrance_of the_tower to_burn_it with_fire.
53 And_ a_woman _she_threw one a_mill-stone_of an_upper_mill-stone on the_head_of ʼAⱱīmelek and_she_crushed DOM skull_of_his.
54 And_he/it_called quickly to the_young_man the_bearer_of his_armour(s)_of_his and_he/it_said to_him/it draw sword_of_your and_kill_me lest people_should_say to_me a_woman she_killed_him and_he_pierced_him_through man_of_his_young and_he/it_died.
55 And_ the_man_of _they_saw of_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) if/because_that ʼAⱱīmelek he_was_dead and_they_went everyone to_his_own_of_place.
56 And_ god _he_repaid DOM the_evil_of ʼAⱱīmelek which he_had_done to_father_of_his by_killing DOM seventy brothers_of_his.
57 And_DOM all_of the_evil_of the_men_of Shəkem god he_repaid on_head_of_their and_it_came to_them the_curse_of Yōtām/(Jotham) the_son_of Jerub-Baˊal.
