OET (OET-RV) The king commanded that they take off Jonathan’s garments and clothe him in purple, and they did so.
BrLXX Καὶ προσέταξεν ὁ βασιλεὺς, καὶ ἐξέδυσαν Ἰωνάθαν τὰ ἱμάτια αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἐνέδυσαν αὐτὸν πορφύραν, καὶ ἐποίησαν οὕτως.
(Kai prosetaxen ho basileus, kai exedusan Yōnathan ta himatia autou, kai enedusan auton porfuran, kai epoiaʸsan houtōs. )
BrTr Yea more than that, the king commanded to take off his garments, and clothe him in purple: and they did so.
WEBBE The king commanded that they take off Jonathan’s garments and clothe him in purple, and they did so.
DRA And he commanded that Jonathan’s garments should be taken off, and that he should be clothed with purple: and they did so. And the king made him sit by himself.
