BrLXXΚαὶ εἶδε Ματταθίας καὶ ἐζήλωσε, καὶ ἐτρόμησαν οἱ νεφροὶ αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἀνήνεγκε θυμὸν κατὰ τὸ κρίμα, καὶ δραμῶν ἔσφαξεν αὐτὸν ἐπὶ τὸν βωμόν.
   (Kai eide Mattathias kai ezaʸlōse, kai etromaʸsan hoi nefroi autou, kai anaʸnegke thumon kata to krima, kai dramōn esfaxen auton epi ton bōmon. )
