OET (OET-RV) Jonathan learnt of this and sent ambassadors to him, to the end that they should make peace with him, and that he should restore to them the captives.
BrLXX Καὶ ἐπέγνω Ἰωνάθαν, καὶ ἀπέστειλε πρὸς αὐτὸν πρέσβεις, τοῦ συνθέσθαι πρὸς αὐτὸν εἰρήνην, καὶ ἀποδοῦναι αὐτοῖς τὴν αἰχμαλωσίαν.
(Kai epegnō Yōnathan, kai apesteile pros auton presbeis, tou sunthesthai pros auton eiraʸnaʸn, kai apodounai autois taʸn aiⱪmalōsian. )
BrTr Whereof when Jonathan had knowledge, he sent ambassadors unto him, to the end he should make peace with him, and deliver them the prisoners.
WEBBE Jonathan learnt of this and sent ambassadors to him, to the end that they should make peace with him, and that he should restore to them the captives.
DRA And Jonathan had knowledge of it, and he sent ambassadors to him to make peace with him, and to restore to him the prisoners.
