ULTAnd the king of Assyria commanded, saying, “Cause one from the priests whom you exiled from there to go to there, and they will go, and they will settle there. And he will teach them the custom of the God of the land.”

USTWhen the king of Assyria read this letter, he commanded his officers, “Send one of the priests whom you brought here from Samaria to go back there. Tell him to teach the people who are now living there how to worship correctly the God whom the Israelites worshiped in that land.”
