OET (OET-RV) and so you will be richly provided entry into the eternal kingdom of our master and saviour Yeshua Messiah.
Here is the basic message of this section: Christ has given Christians everything they need to live in a way that is good and that pleases him, so every Christian should try hard to become a strong and mature Christian. If they become that kind of Christian, it will be right and proper for God to allow them to enter heaven, Christ’s eternal kingdom.
and you will receive a lavish reception into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Then/also God will welcome you(plur) warmly into the place where Jesus Christ, who is our(incl) Lord/Master and our Saviour, will rule for ever, so that you can live there for ever.
Then God will give you(plur) full permission to enter and live in the place where Jesus Christ, who is our(incl) Lord and Saviour, will rule as king for ever.
you will receive a lavish reception into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ: The literal meaning of the Greek is “entrance into the kingdom will be richly provided for you.” The basic meaning of this is obvious: God will gladly allow you to enter heaven which is here described as the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Modern versions try to express the idea of “lavish” in different ways. For example:
you will be given the full right to enter (GNT)
a rich welcome awaits you (JBP)
you will be afforded full and free admission (NEB)
eternal kingdom: Christ will reign as king forever, and believers will remain forever with him.
