BrLXX Καὶ παρενέβαλεν ἐπὶ Ἰόππην, καὶ ἀπέκλεισαν αὐτὸν ἐκ τῆς πόλεως, ὅτι φρουρὰ Ἀπολλωνίου ἐν Ἰόππῃ, καὶ ἐπολέμησαν αὐτήν.
(Kai parenebalen epi Yoppaʸn, kai apekleisan auton ek taʸs poleōs, hoti froura Apollōniou en Yoppaʸ, kai epolemaʸsan autaʸn. )
BrTr And he pitched his tents against Joppe: but they shut him out of the city, because Apollonius had a garrison in Joppe.
WEBBE Then he encamped against Joppa. The people of the city shut him out, because Apollonius had a garrison in Joppa.
KJB-1611 And hee pitched his tents against Ioppe: but they of Ioppe shut him out of the citie, because Apollonius had a garison there.
