BrLXX Καὶ Σίμων ἐξῆλθε, καὶ διώδευσεν ἕως Ἀσκάλωνος, καὶ τῶν πλησίων ὀχυρωμάτων, καὶ ἐξέκλινεν εἰς Ἰόππην, καὶ προκατελάβετο αὐτήν.
(Kai Simōn exaʸlthe, kai diōdeusen heōs Askalōnos, kai tōn plaʸsiōn oⱪurōmatōn, kai exeklinen eis Yoppaʸn, kai prokatelabeto autaʸn. )

BrTr Simon also went forth, and passed through the country unto Ascalon, and the holds there adjoining, from whence he turned aside to Joppe, and won it.
