OET (OET-RV) The king’s officers answered and spoke to Mattathias, saying, “You are a ruler and an honourable and great man in this city, and strengthened with sons and kindred.
BrLXX Καὶ ἀπεκρίθησαν οἱ παρὰ τοῦ βασιλέως, καὶ εἰπον τῷ Ματταθίᾳ, λέγοντες, ἄρχων καὶ ἔνδοξος καὶ μέγας εἶ ἐν τῇ πόλει ταύτῃ, καὶ ἐστηριγμένος ἐν υἱοῖς καὶ ἀδελφοῖς.
(Kai apekrithaʸsan hoi para tou basileōs, kai eipon tōi Mattathia, legontes, arⱪōn kai endoxos kai megas ei en taʸ polei tautaʸ, kai estaʸrigmenos en huiois kai adelfois. )
