TSNTyndale Study Notes:

34:1–37:28 These chapters show us the blessings that would flow from the Lord’s return to his people. He would be their shepherd and provide them with better leadership (ch 34); he would restore the fruitfulness of the land and thus vindicate his own honor (chs 35–36); he would restore his people to life and unity (ch 37).

UTNuW Translation Notes:

(Occurrence 0) be victims of famine

(Some words not found in UHB: and,provide to/for=them vegetation for,renowned and=not be again/more victims famine on_the=earth and=not bear again/more insults the=nations )

Alternate translation: “be starved” or “be starving because of lack of food”

Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / metonymy

(Occurrence 0) they will not bear the scorn of the nations

(Some words not found in UHB: and,provide to/for=them vegetation for,renowned and=not be again/more victims famine on_the=earth and=not bear again/more insults the=nations )

Here “nations” represents the people of the nations. If your language does not use an abstract noun for the idea behind the word scorn, you can express the same idea with a verbal form. Alternate translation: “they will no longer hear the people of the nations insult them” (See also: figs-abstractnouns)
