3 And _ they _ saideach to his/its _ neighbour come _ now let _ us_ make_ bricksbricks and _ let _ us_ burnto _ burning and _ it _ becameto/for _ them the _ brick to _ stone and _ the _ bitumen it _ becameto/for _ them to _ mortar .
4 And _ they _ saidcome _ now let _ us_ buildto/for _ ourselves a _ cityand _ (a) _ towerand _ its _ top in _ the _ heavensand _ we _ may_ maketo/for _ ourselves a _ namelest we _ should_ be_ scatteredover the _ surfaceof _ allthe _ earth/land .
5 And _ he/it _ descendedYHWH for _ seeing DOM the _ city and _ DOM the _ tower which they _ had_ builtthe _ childrenthe _ humankind .
6 And _ he/it _ saidYHWH here a _ peopleone and _ (a) _ languageone to/for _ all _ them and _ this their _ beginning for _ doing and _ now not it _ will_ be_ withheldfrom _ them all that they _ will_ planfor _ doing .
7 Come _ now let _ us_ go_ downand _ let _ us_ confusethere their _ language that not they _ will_ heareach the _ languagehis/its _ neighbour .
8 And _ he/it _ scatteredYHWH DOM _ them from _ there over the _ surfaceof _ allthe _ earth/land and _ they _ stoppedto _ build the _ city .
9 On/upon/above/on _ account_ of//he/it_ went_ inyes/correct/thus/so someone _ calledhis/its _ name Babel if/because there he _ confusedYHWH the _ languageof _ allthe _ earth/land and _ from _ there he/it _ scattered_ them YHWH over the _ surfaceof _ allthe _ earth/land .
10 these [are] _ the_ accountsof _ ShemShem [was] _ a_ sonof _ one_ hundredyear[s] and _ he/it _ fatheredDOM ʼArpaksad two _ yearsafter the _ flood .
11 And _ he/it _ livedShem after fathering _ by _ him/itDOM ʼArpaksad five hundred(s) year[s] and _ he/it _ fatheredsons and _ daughters .
12 and _ Arpakshad he _ livedfive and _ thirty year[s] and _ he/it _ fatheredDOM Shēlāh .
13 And _ he/it _ livedʼArpaksad after fathering _ by _ him/itDOM Shēlāh three years and _ four hundred(s) year[s] and _ he/it _ fatheredsons and _ daughters .
14 and _ Shēlāh he _ livedthirty year[s] and _ he/it _ fatheredDOM ˊĒⱱēr .
15 And _ he/it _ livedShēlāh after fathering _ by _ him/itDOM ˊĒⱱēr three years and _ four hundred(s) year[s] and _ he/it _ fatheredsons and _ daughters .
