In this long final vision, Daniel was told of events leading up to the end of the age.

Daniel heard three angelic figures talking to one another by the river.

Then I, Daniel, looked and saw two others standing there,

Then I, Daniel, looked and saw two others standing there: In his vision Daniel next saw two other figures or angelic beings. Here are some other ways to translate this:

I, Daniel, watched as two others stood there, one on each side of the river. (NET)

Then I, Daniel, looked, and two others appeared (NRSV)

two others: The phrase two others refers to two other living beings or figures who looked like men but who were probably angels. If you must indicate who these two others were, try to use a general expression. For example:
