BrLXX Καὶ ἀκούσας ὠργίσθη· ὡς δὲ ἤκουσεν, εὐθέως ἀναζεύξας ἦλθεν εἰς Πτολεμαΐδα, καὶ ἔγραψεν Ἰωνάθαν, τοῦ μὴ περικαθῆσθαι τῇ ἄκρᾳ, καὶ τοῦ ἀπαντῆσαι αὐτὸν αὐτῷ συνμίσγειν εἰς Πτολεμαΐδα τὴν ταχίστην.
(Kai akousas ōrgisthaʸ; hōs de aʸkousen, eutheōs anazeuxas aʸlthen eis Ptolemaida, kai egrapsen Yōnathan, tou maʸ perikathaʸsthai taʸ akra, kai tou apantaʸsai auton autōi sunmisgein eis Ptolemaida taʸn taⱪistaʸn. )
BrTr Whereof when he heard, he was angry, and immediately removing, he came to Ptolemais, and wrote unto Jonathan, that he should not lay siege to the tower, but come and speak with him at Ptolemais in great haste.
WEBBE He heard, and was angry, but when he heard it, he set out immediately, and came to Ptolemais, and wrote to Jonathan, that he should not besiege it, and that he should meet him and speak with him at Ptolemais with all speed.
