BrLXX Καὶ ἦλθε καὶ ἐζήτει καταλαβέσθαι τὴν πόλιν, καὶ προνομεῦσαι αὐτὴν, καὶ οὐκ ἠδυνάσθη, ὅτι ἐγνώσθη ὁ λόγος τοῖς ἐκ τῆς πόλεως.
(Kai aʸlthe kai ezaʸtei katalabesthai taʸn polin, kai pronomeusai autaʸn, kai ouk aʸdunasthaʸ, hoti egnōsthaʸ ho logos tois ek taʸs poleōs. )
BrTr wherefore he came and sought to take the city, and to spoil it; but he was not able, because they of the city, having had warning thereof,
