(Occurrence 0) two-pronged rays flash from his hand

(Some words not found in UHB: and,brightness like_the,light you(ms)_will_be rays from,hand,his to=him/it and=there hidden power,his )

Habakkuk speaks of flashes of lightning as if they were two-pronged weapons that Yahweh holds in his hand.

(Occurrence 0) there he hid his power

(Some words not found in UHB: and,brightness like_the,light you(ms)_will_be rays from,hand,his to=him/it and=there hidden power,his )

The word “there” refers to Yahweh’s hand. This could mean: (1) the lightning bolts that Habakkuk can see are only a small representation of the full power that he cannot see hidden in Yahweh’s hand or (2) Yahweh hides his power in his hand until he is ready to use it.
