OET (OET-RV) The speech pleased the king and the princes, and he sent to them to make peace; and they accepted it.
BrLXX Καὶ ἤρεσεν ὁ λόγος ἐναντίον τοῦ βασιλέως καὶ τῶν ἀρχόντων, καὶ ἀπέστειλε πρὸς αὐτοὺς εἰρηνεῦσαι, καὶ ἐπεδέξαντο.
(Kai aʸresen ho logos enantion tou basileōs kai tōn arⱪontōn, kai apesteile pros autous eiraʸneusai, kai epedexanto. )
BrTr So the king and the princes were content: wherefore he sent unto them to make peace; and they accepted thereof.
