BrLXXΕἷς δὲ αὐτῶν γενόμενος προήγορος, οὕτως ἔφη, τί μέλλεις ἐρωτᾷν, καὶ μανθάνειν παρʼ ἡμῶν; ἕτοιμοι γὰρ ἀποθνήσκειν ἐσμὲν ἢ παραβαίνειν τοὺς πατρίους νόμους.
   (Heis de autōn genomenos proaʸgoros, houtōs efaʸ, ti melleis erōtan, kai manthanein parʼ haʸmōn; hetoimoi gar apothnaʸskein esmen aʸ parabainein tous patrious nomous. )
