BrLXXἌχρηστον δὲ αὐτὸν τοῖς ὅλοις γενόμενον, ἐκέλευσε τῇ πυρᾷ προσάγειν ἔμπνουν, καὶ τηγανίζειν· τῆς δὲ ἀτμίδος ἐφʼ ἱκανὸν διαδιδούσης τοῦ τηγάνου, ἀλλήλους παρεκάλουν σὺν τῇ μητρὶ γενναίως τελευτᾷν, λέγοντες οὕτως.
   (Aⱪraʸston de auton tois holois genomenon, ekeleuse taʸ pura prosagein empnoun, kai taʸganizein; taʸs de atmidos efʼ hikanon diadidousaʸs tou taʸganou, allaʸlous parekaloun sun taʸ maʸtri gennaiōs teleutan, legontes houtōs. )

BrTrNow when he was thus maimed in all his members, he commanded him being yet alive to be brought to the fire, and to be fried in the pan: and as the vapour of the pan was for a good space dispersed, they exhorted one another with the mother to die manfully, saying thus,
