OET (OET-LV)And_the_entrails and_the_legs he_will_wash in/on/at/with_water and_offer the_priest/officer DOM the_all and_burn the_altar_on is_a_burnt_offering it a_fire_offering_of an_odour_of soothing to/for_YHWH.

OET (OET-RV)Then the presenter must wash the innards and the feet with water, and the priest must place it on the altar, ensuring that every part is completely burnt up as a pleasing aroma for Yahweh.

uW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / explicitinfo

יִרְחַ֣ץ בַּמָּ֑יִם

wash in/on/at/with,water

See how you translated the expression wash with water in [1:9](../01/09.md). Alternate translation: [he shall wash thoroughly]

Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / explicit

וְהַקֶּ֥רֶב וְהַכְּרָעַ֖יִם יִרְחַ֣ץ בַּמָּ֑יִם

and,the,entrails and,the,legs wash in/on/at/with,water

The implication seems to be that the worshiper must wash the innards and legs before the priest arranges them on the altar, as [1:12](../01/12.md) describes. You can indicate this in your translation if that would be helpful to your readers. Alternate translation: [Before the priest arranges the pieces, the one offering the sacrifice shall wash the innards and legs with water]

וְהִקְטִ֣יר הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חָה

and,burn the,altar,on

Alternate translation: [and that same priest shall cause them to become smoke on the altar]

TSN Tyndale Study Notes:

1:3-17 burnt offering (Hebrew ‘olah, “what goes up”): The Hebrew word implies the ascent of the animal in flame and smoke. Except for its hide, given in payment to the officiating priest (7:8), this offering was burned completely on the altar (1:9). Its purpose was to satisfy God’s wrath against sin, ceremonially cleansing the worshiper and restoring him or her to fellowship with God (cp. Rom 3:25; 8:3; 2 Cor 5:18-21). The whole burnt offering occurs first in this list of offerings (Lev 1–7), providing a pattern for offerings that follow. It is the most common and most general atoning offering.
