OET (OET-LV)and_ YHWH _he/it_said to Mosheh say to the_priests the_sons_of ʼAhₐron and_say to_them to_living_creature not he_will_make_himself_unclean in/on/at/with_people_of_his.

OET (OET-RV)

uW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / quotesinquote

וַיֹּ֤אמֶר יְהוָה֙ אֶל־ מֹשֶׁ֔ה אֱמֹ֥ר אֶל־ הַכֹּהֲנִ֖ים בְּנֵ֣י אַהֲרֹ֑ן וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ אֲלֵהֶ֔ם

(Some words not found in UHB: and=he/it_said YHWH to/towards Mosheh speak to/towards the,priests sons_of ʼAhₐron and,say to,them to=living_creature not make_~_ceremoniallyunclean in/on/at/with,people_of,his )

If it would be clearer in your language, you could translate this so that there is not a quotation within a quotation. It may be helpful to begin a new sentence here. Alternate translation, with a period before: [Yahweh told Moses to speak to the priests, the sons of Aaron, and to say to them that]

Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / doublet

אֱמֹ֥ר אֶל־ הַכֹּהֲנִ֖ים בְּנֵ֣י אַהֲרֹ֑ן וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ אֲלֵהֶ֔ם

speak to/towards (Some words not found in UHB: and=he/it_said YHWH to/towards Mosheh speak to/towards the,priests sons_of ʼAhₐron and,say to,them to=living_creature not make_~_ceremoniallyunclean in/on/at/with,people_of,his )

These expressions repeat the word say for emphasis. If it would be clearer for your readers, you could express the emphasis with a single phrase. Alternate translation: [Tell the priests, the sons of Aaron]

Note 3 topic: writing-pronouns

לֹֽא־ יִטַּמָּ֖א בְּעַמָּֽיו׃

not make_~_ceremoniallyunclean (Some words not found in UHB: and=he/it_said YHWH to/towards Mosheh speak to/towards the,priests sons_of ʼAhₐron and,say to,them to=living_creature not make_~_ceremoniallyunclean in/on/at/with,people_of,his )

Here, the words he and himself and his refer to any male priest. If it would be helpful in your language, consider making the referent explicit. Alternate translation: [No male priest should make himself unclean among his people]

TSN Tyndale Study Notes:

21:1–22:33 This section, which covers priestly regulations, is punctuated six times with the phrase I am the Lord who makes . . . holy (21:15, 23; 22:9, 16, 32; cp. 21:8). The words reaffirm the necessary connection between the holiness of God and the holiness expected of the priesthood, and by extension, of all Israel (see 8:10; 11:44-45; 19:2). Priests are specifically addressed in 21:1–22:16, while both clergy and laity are included in 22:17-33.
