This chapter presents Zechariah’s fourth night vision: a heavenly courtroom scene in which Joshua the priest stands before the angel of Yahweh while the adversary accuses him (vv.1–5), followed by a prophetic oracle about “the Branch” and the removal of iniquity (vv.6–10).
