22 And _ they _ livedthree years there _ was _ notwar between ʼArām and _ between Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) .

3 And _ the _ king_ of_ he/it _ saidof _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)to servants _ of_ his do _ you(pl) _ knowif/because _ thatto/for _ us Rāmot Gilˊād and _ we are _ being_ inactivefrom _ taking DOM _ her/it from _ the _ hand_ ofthe _ king_ ofʼArām .
4 And _ he/it _ saidto Yə hōshāfāţ will _ you _ gowith _ me for _ battle Rāmot Gilˊād and _ Yə hōshāfāţ _ he/it _ saidto the _ king_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) as _ me as _ you as _ my _ of_ people as _ your _ of_ people as _ my _ of_ horses as _ your(pl) _ of_ horses .
5 And _ Yə hōshāfāţ _ he/it _ saidto the _ king_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) seek please as _ day DOM the _ message_ ofYHWH 6 And _ the _ king_ of_ he _ gatheredof _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)DOM the _ prophets about _ four hundred(s) man and _ he/it _ saidto _ them will _ I _ goon Rāmot Gilˊād for _ battle or will _ I_ refrainand _ they _ saidgo _ upand _ he _ will_ give_ my _ master in _ the _ hand_ ofthe _ king7 And _ Yə hōshāfāţ _ he/it _ saidis _ there_ not here a _ prophetto/for _ YHWH still so _ that _ we_ may_ enquirefrom _ DOM _ him .
8 And _ the _ king_ of_ he/it _ saidof _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)to Yə hōshāfāţ still a _ manone to _ consult DOM YHWH from _ DOM _ him and _ I I _ hate _ himif/because not he _ prophesieson _ me good if/because (if) evil Mīkāyə hū the _ son_ ofYimlāʼ/(Imlah) and _ Yə hōshāfāţ/(Jehoshaphat) _ he/it _ saidnot let _ him_ speakthe _ king thus .
9 And _ the _ king_ of_ he/it _ calledof _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)(to) a _ court-officialone and _ he/it _ saidbring _ quickly Mīkāyə hū the _ son_ ofYimlāʼ .
10 And _ the _ king_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ Yə hōshāfāţ the _ king_ ofYə hūdāh/(Judah) were _ sittingeach on throne _ of_ his clothed garments at _ the _ threshing_ floor_ ofthe _ entrance_ ofthe _ gate_ ofShomrōn and _ all the _ prophets were _ prophesyingbefore _ them .
11 And _ he/it _ madeto _ him/it Tsidqiyyāh /(Zedekiah) the _ son_ ofə naˊₐnāh/(Chenaanah) horns _ ofiron and _ he/it _ saidthus YHWH he _ sayswith _ these you _ will_ goreDOM ʼArām until destroy _ them .
12 And _ all the _ prophets were _ prophesyingthus to _ say go _ upRāmot Gilˊād and _ succeed and _ he/it _ gaveYHWH in _ the _ hand_ ofthe _ king13 And _ the _ messenger who he _ had_ goneto _ call Mīkāyə hū he _ spoketo _ him/it to _ say here please the _ words/messages_ ofthe _ prophetsare _ a_ mouthone good concerning the _ king let _ it_ beplease message _ of_ your [fn ] like _ the _ message _ ofone from _ them and _ you _ will_ speakgood .
14 And _ Mīkāyə hū _ he/it _ saidby _ the_ lifeof _ YHWH if/because DOM that _ whichhe _ will_ sayYHWH to _ me DOM _ him/it I _ will_ speak15 And _ he _ cameto the _ king and _ he/it _ saidthe _ king to _ him/it Oh _ Mīkāyə hūwill _ we _ goagainst Rāmot Gilˊād for _ battle or will _ we_ refrainand _ he/it _ saidto _ him/it go _ upand _ succeed and _ YHWH _ he/it _ gavein _ the _ hand_ ofthe _ king16 And _ he/it _ saidto _ him/it the _ king until how _ many times will _ Imake _ of_ you _ swear(cmp) not you _ will_ speakto _ me only truth in/on _ name _ ofYHWH 17 And _ he/it _ saidI _ sawDOM all _ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) scattered to the _ mountains like _ flock which there _ is _ notto/for _ them a _ shepherdand _ YHWH _ he/it _ saidnot masters belong _ to_ these let _ them_ returneach to _ his _ own_ of_ house in _ peace .
18 And _ the _ king_ of_ he/it _ saidof _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)to Yə hōshāfāţ/(Jehoshaphat) am _ not did _ I_ sayto _ you not he _ prophesieson _ me good if/because (if) evil .
19 And _ he/it _ saidfor _ so/thus/hence hear the _ message_ ofYHWH I _ sawDOM YHWH sitting on throne _ of_ his and _ all the _ host_ ofthe _ heavens standing on/upon/above _ him/it from _ his _ of_ right and _ from _ his _ of_ left .
20 And _ YHWH _ he/it _ saidwho will _ he_ deceiveDOM ʼAḩʼāⱱ so _ that _ he_ will_ go_ upand _ so _ that_ he_ will_ fallat gilˊād and _ he/it _ saidthis _ by _ thus and _ this was _ sayingby _ thus .
21 And _ he/it _ went_ outthe _ spirit and _ it _ stoodto _ (the) _ face_ of/in_ front_ of/beforeYHWH and _ he/it _ saidI I _ will _ deceive_ him[fn ] and _ YHWH _ he/it _ saidto _ him/it how .
22 And _ he/it _ saidI _ will_ go_ outand _ I _ will_ bea _ spirit_ offalsehood in _ the _ mouth_ ofall _ ofprophets _ of_ his and _ he/it _ saidyou _ will_ deceiveand _ also you _ will_ prevailgo _ outand _ do thus .
23 And _ now here he _ has_ putYHWH a _ spirit_ offalsehood in _ the _ mouth_ ofall _ ofprophets _ of_ your these and _ YHWH he _ has_ spokenon _ you calamity .
24 And _ Tsidqiyyāh /(Zedekiah) _ he _ drew_ nearthe _ son_ ofə naˊₐnāh/(Chenaanah) and _ he _ struckDOM Mīkāyə hū on the _ cheek and _ he/it _ saidwhere this did _ it_ pass_ onthe _ spirit_ ofYHWH from _ with _ me to _ speak with _ you .
25 And _ Mīkāyə hū _ he/it _ saidthere _ you are _ about_ to_ seein _ the_ day (the) _ that when you _ will_ goa _ roomin _ a _ roomto _ hide _ yourself26 And _ the _ king_ of_ he/it _ saidof _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)take DOM Mīkāyə hū and _ return _ him to ʼĀmōn the _ official_ ofthe _ city and _ near/to Yōʼāsh/(Joash) the _ son_ ofthe _ king27 And _ you _ will_ saythus he _ saysthe _ king put DOM this _ the _ house_ of(the) _ imprisonment and _ feed _ him bread oppression and _ water oppression until I _ come in _ peace .
28 And _ Mīkāyə hū _ he/it _ saidif ever _ (return)you _ will_ returnin _ peace not he _ has_ spokenYHWH by _ me and _ he/it _ saidlisten Oh _ peoplesof _ them_ of_ all .
29 And _ the _ king_ of_ he/it _ ascendedof _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)and _ Yə hōshāfāţ/(Jehoshaphat) [fn ] the _ king_ ofYə hūdāh/(Judah) Rāmot Gilˊād .
30 And _ the _ king_ of_ he/it _ saidof _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)to Yə hōshāfāţ I _ will_ disguise_ myselfand _ I _ will_ goin _ battle and _ you(ms) wear clothes _ of_ your _ ownand _ the _ king_ of_ he _ disguised_ himselfof _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)and _ he _ wentin _ battle .
31 And _ the _ king_ ofʼArām he _ had_ commandedDOM the _ commanders_ ofthe _ chariotrywhich to _ him/it thirty and _ two to _ say not you(pl) _ must_ do_ battlewith the _ smalland _ DOM the _ greatif/because (if) with the _ king_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) for _ him/it _ being _ alone32 And _ he/it _ wasjust _ as _ sawthe _ commanders_ ofthe _ chariotryDOM Yə hōshāfāţ and _ they they _ saidsurely is _ the_ king_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) it and _ they _ turned_ asideon/upon/above _ him/it to _ do _ battleand _ Yə hōshāfāţ _ he _ cried_ out33 And _ he/it _ wasjust _ as _ sawthe _ commanders_ ofthe _ chariotryif/because _ thatnot was _ the_ king_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) it and _ they _ turned_ backfrom _ after _ him .
34 And _ someone he _ drewon _ bow to _ his _ of_ innocence and _ he _ struckDOM the _ king_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) between the _ scales and _ between the _ body_ armour and _ he/it _ saidto _ his _ of_ charioteer turn _ aroundhand _ of_ your and _ take _ me _ outfrom the _ camp if/because I _ have_ been_ wounded35 And _ it _ went_ upthe _ battle in _ the_ day (the) _ that and _ the _ king he _ wasplaced in _ chariot opposite _ toʼArām and _ he/it _ diedin _ evening and _ the _ blood_ of_ it _ flowedof _ the _ woundinto the _ bottom_ ofthe _ chariot36 And _ he/it _ passed_ throughthe _ cry in _ camp just _ as _ wentthe _ sun to _ everyone _ say to city _ of_ his and _ everyone to land _ of_ his .
37 And _ he/it _ diedthe _ king and _ he _ cameShomrōn and _ people _ buriedDOM the _ king in _ Shomrōn .
38 And _ someone _ washed_ offDOM the _ chariot at the _ pool_ ofShomrōn and _ they _ lapped_ upthe _ dogs DOM blood _ of_ his and _ the _ prostitutes they _ bathedaccording _ to _ the_ message_ ofYHWH which he _ had_ spoken39 And _ the _ rest_ ofthe _ matters_ ofʼAḩʼāⱱ and _ all that he _ didand _ the _ house_ of(the) _ ivory which he _ builtand _ all the _ cities which he _ builtam _ not are _ theywritten on the _ scroll_ ofthe _ matters_ ofthe _ days of _ the _ kings_ ofof _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)40 And _ ʼAḩʼāⱱ _ he _ lay_ downwith ancestors _ of_ his and _ ʼAḩazyāh _ he _ became_ kingson _ of_ his in _ place _ of_ him41 and _ Yə hōshāfāţ/(Jehoshaphat) the _ son_ ofʼĀşāʼ he _ became_ kingover Yə hūdāh/(Judah) in _ year four of _ ʼAḩʼāⱱ the _ king_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) .
42 Yə hōshāfāţ was _ a_ son_ ofthirty and _ five year[s] when _ he _ became _ kingand _ twenty and _ five year[s] he _ reignedin _ Yə rūshālam/(Jerusalem) and _ name _ ofhis/its _ mother was _ ˊAzūⱱāhthe _ daughter_ ofShilḩī .
43 And _ he/it _ wentin _ all the _ way_ ofʼĀşāʼ his/its _ father not he _ turned_ asidefrom _ him/it for _ doing the _ right in/on _ both _ eyes_ ofYHWH 44 [fn ] only the _ high_ places not they _ were_ removedstill the _ people were _ sacrificingand _ making _ smokeat _ places .
45 [fn ] and _ Yə hōshāfāţ _ he _ made_ peacewith the _ king_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) .
46 [fn ] and _ the _ rest_ ofthe _ matters_ ofYə hōshāfāţ and _ his _ of_ might which he _ didand _ which he _ waged_ warnot are _ theywritten on the _ scroll_ ofthe _ matters_ ofthe _ days of _ the _ kings_ ofof _ Yə hūdāh47 [fn ] and _ the _ rest_ ofthe _ male_ cult_ prostitute[s]which it _ remainedin _ the _ days_ ofʼĀşāʼ his/its _ father he _ destroyedfrom the _ earth/land .
48 [fn ] and _ a _ kingthere _ was _ notin _ ʼEdōm an _ overseerwas _ king49 [fn ] Yə hōshāfāţ/(Jehoshaphat) he _ made[fn ] (the) _ ships_ ofTarshiysh to _ go to _ ʼŌfīr for _ gold and _ not it _ wentif/because they _ were_ broken[fn ] the _ shipsat geⱱer .
50 [fn ] then ʼAḩazyāh he _ saidthe _ son_ ofʼAḩʼāⱱ to Yə hōshāfāţ servants _ of_ my let _ them_ gowith your _ servants in _ the _ shipsand _ not Yə hōshāfāţ he _ was_ willing51 [fn ] and _ Yə hōshāfāţ _ he _ lay_ downwith ancestors _ of_ his and _ he _ was_ buriedwith ancestors _ of_ his in _ the _ city_ ofDāvid his/its _ father and _ Yə hōrām/(Jehoram) _ he _ became_ kinghis/its _ son in _ place _ of_ him52 [fn ] ʼAḩazyāh the _ son_ ofʼAḩʼāⱱ he _ became_ kingover Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) in _ Shomrōn in _ year seven- teen of _ Yə hōshāfāţ the _ king_ ofYə hūdāh/(Judah) and _ he _ reignedover Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) two _ years53 [fn ] and _ he/it _ madethe _ evil in/on _ both _ eyes_ ofYHWH and _ he/it _ wentin _ the _ way_ ofhis/its _ father and _ in _ the _ way_ ofhis/its _ mother and _ in _ the _ way_ ofYārāⱱə ˊām/(Jeroboam) the _ son_ ofNeⱱaţ who he _ caused_ to_ sinDOM Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) .
54 [fn ] and _ he _ servedDOM (the) _ Baˊal and _ he _ bowed_ downto _ him/it and _ he _ provoked_ to_ angerDOM YHWH the _ god_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) according _ to _ allthat he _ had_ donehis/its _ father .
