28 and _ the _ news it _ cameto Yōʼāⱱ/(Joab) if/because Yōʼāⱱ he _ had_ turned_ asideafter ʼAdoniyyāh and _ after ʼAⱱīshālōm not he _ had_ turned_ asideand _ Yōʼāⱱ _ fled to the _ tent_ ofYHWH and _ took _ holdin/on/at/with _ horns _ ofthe _ altar .
29 And _ told to/for _ the _ kingShə lomoh if/because _ thathe _ had_ fledYōʼāⱱ to the _ tent_ ofYHWH and _ see/lo/see [he _ was]_ besidethe _ altar and _ Shə lomoh _ sent DOM Bə nāyāh the _ son_ ofYə hōyādāˊ to _ say go fall in/on/over _ him/it .
30 And _ Bə nāyāh _ came to the _ tent_ ofYHWH and _ he/it _ saidto _ him/it thus he _ saysthe _ king come _ outand _ he/it _ saidno if/because here I _ will_ dieand _ Bə nāyāh _ brought _ againDOM the _ king word to _ say thus he _ spokeYōʼāⱱ and _ thus answered _ me .
31 And _ he/it _ saidto _ him/it the _ king do just _ as he _ has_ spokenand _ strike _ downin/on/over _ him/it and _ bury _ him and _ remove blood(s) _ ofwithout _ causewhich he _ has_ shedYōʼāⱱ from _ on _ me and _ from _ on the _ house_ offather’s _ of_ my .
32 And _ YHWH _ bring _ backDOM blood _ of_ his on his/its _ head who he _ fellin/on/at/with _ two _ ofmen righteous and _ better from _ him/it and _ killed _ them in/on/at/with _ sword and _ father _ of_ my Dāvid not he _ knewDOM ʼAⱱnēr the _ son_ ofNēr the _ commander_ ofthe _ army_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ DOM ˊAmāsāʼ the _ son_ ofYeter/(Jether) the _ commander_ ofthe _ army_ ofYə hūdāh/(Judah) .

40 And _ Shimˊī _ he/it _ rose_ upand _ saddled DOM donkey _ of_ his and _ he/it _ wentGat _ to to ʼAkīsh to _ search _ forDOM slaves _ of_ his and _ Shimˊī _ he/it _ wentand _ he/it _ broughtDOM slaves _ of_ his from _ Gat .
41 And _ told to _ Shə lomoh if/because _ thathe _ had_ goneShimˊī from _ Yə rūshālam Gat and _ returned .
42 And _ sent the _ king and _ he/it _ calledfor _ Shimˊī and _ he/it _ saidto _ him/it am _ not swear _ you in/on/at/with _ LORD and _ warn in/on/at/with _ you to _ say in/on _ day go _ out_ you and _ go where and _ to _ theresurely _ (know)you _ will_ knowif/because _ thatsurely _ (die)you _ will_ dieand _ she/it _ saidto _ me [is] _ goodthe _ sentence I _ have_ heard43 And _ why not have _ you_ keptDOM the _ oath_ ofYHWH and _ DOM the _ command which I _ commandedon _ you .
44 And _ he/it _ saidthe _ king to Shimˊī you you _ knowDOM all _ ofthe _ evil which it _ knowsheart _ of_ your which you _ didto _ Dāvid father _ of_ my and _ return YHWH DOM evil _ of_ your in/on/at/with _ head _ of_ your _ own45 And _ the _ king Shə lomoh [will _ be]_ blessedand _ throne _ ofDāvid it _ will_ beestablished to _ (the) _ face_ of/in_ front_ of/beforeYHWH until perpetuity .
