16 And _ they _ went_ outat _ noontide(s) and hₐdad was _ drinkingdrunken in _ booths he and _ the _ kings thirty and _ two king[s] who _ was_ helpingDOM _ him/it .
17 And _ the _ young_ men_ of_ they _ went_ outof _ the_ officials_ ofof _ the _ provincesat _ first and _ Ben _ he _ sentdad and _ people _ toldto _ him/it to _ say men they _ have_ come_ outfrom _ Shomrōn .
18 And _ he/it _ saidif for _ peace they _ have_ come_ outseize _ them alive and _ if for _ battle they _ have_ come_ outalive seize _ them .
19 And _ these they _ went_ outfrom the _ city the _ young_ men_ ofthe _ officials_ ofthe _ provincesand _ the _ army which was _ behind_ them .
20 And _ they _ struck_ downeveryone man _ of_ his and _ ʼArām _ they _ fledand _ it _ pursued _ themYisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ he _ escapedBen Hₐdad the _ king_ ofʼArām on a _ horseand _ horsemen .
21 And _ the _ king_ of_ he/it _ went_ outof _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)and _ he _ struck_ downDOM the _ horse[s] and _ DOM the _ chariotry and _ he _ defeated(in) _ ʼArām a _ defeatgreat .
22 And _ he _ drew_ nearthe _ prophet to the _ king_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ he/it _ saidto _ him/it go strengthen _ yourselfand _ know and _ see DOM that _ whichyou _ will_ doif/because to _ the _ return_ ofthe _ yearthe _ king_ ofʼArām will _ be_ coming_ upon _ you .

33 And _ the _ men they _ observed_ the_ signsand _ they _ hastenedand _ they _ caughtfrom _ him and _ they _ saidyour(ms) _ brother/kindred Ben Hₐdad and _ he/it _ saidgo fetch _ him and _ he/it _ went_ outto _ him/it Ben Hₐdad and _ he _ brought _ him_ upon the _ chariot .
