17 And _ he/it _ wasjust _ as _ sawʼAḩʼāⱱ DOM ʼĒliyyāh and _ ʼAḩʼāⱱ _ he/it _ saidto _ him/it you is _ thisOh _ you _ who_ troubleYisrāʼēl /(Israel) .

19 And _ now send gather to _ me DOM all _ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) to the _ mountain_ of(the) _ Karmel/(Carmel) and _ DOM the _ prophets_ of(the) _ Baˊal four hundred(s) and _ fifty and _ the _ prophets_ of(the) _ ʼAshērāh four hundred(s) who _ eat_ ofthe _ table_ ofzeⱱel .
20 And _ ʼAḩʼāⱱ _ he _ sentin _ all the _ people_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ he _ gatheredDOM the _ prophets to the _ mountain_ of(the) _ Karmel/(Carmel) .
21 And _ ʼĒliyyāh _ he _ drew_ nearto all _ ofthe _ people and _ he/it _ saiduntil when will _ you(pl)be _ limpingon the _ two_ ofthe _ crutches if YHWH the _ ʼElohīm walk after _ him and _ if (the) _ Baˊal walk after _ him and _ not they _ answeredthe _ people DOM _ him/it a _ message22 And _ ʼĒliyyāh _ he/it _ saidto the _ people I I _ am_ lefta _ prophetto/for _ YHWH I _ alone and _ the _ prophets_ of(the) _ Baˊal are _ fourhundred(s) and _ fifty man .

32 And _ he _ builtDOM the _ stones an _ altarin/on _ name _ ofYHWH and _ he/it _ madea _ trenchlike _ a _ receptacle_ oftwo _ seahsseed around (to) _ altar .
33 And _ he _ arrangedDOM the _ wood(s) and _ he _ cut_ it_ in_ piecesDOM the _ young_ bull and _ he/it _ assignedon the _ wood(s) .
34 And _ he/it _ saidfill four jars water and _ pour _ on the _ burnt_ offering and _ on the _ wood(s) [fn ] and _ he/it _ saiddo _ _ againand _ they _ did_ _ againand _ he/it _ saiddo _ _ a_ third_ timeand _ they _ did_ _ a_ third_ time35 And _ they _ wentthe _ waters around (to) _ altar and _ also DOM the _ trench he _ filledwater .
36 And _ he/it _ waswhen _ went _ upthe _ offering and _ ʼĒliyyāh _ he _ drew_ nearthe _ prophet and _ he _ saidOh _ YHWH the _ god_ ofʼAⱱrāhām Yiʦḩāq/(Isaac) and _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) the _ day let _ it_ be_ knownif/because _ thatyou are _ godin _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ I servant _ of_ am _ yourand _ at _ your(pl) _ of_ message [fn ] I _ have_ doneDOM all _ ofthe _ things the _ these .
37 Answer _ me Oh _ YHWH answer _ me so _ that _ they_ may_ knowthe _ people the _ this if/because _ thatyou Oh _ YHWH the _ ʼElohīm and _ you(ms) you _ have_ turned_ aroundDOM heart _ of_ their backwards .
38 And _ the _ fire_ of_ it _ fellof _ YHWH and _ she/it _ ateDOM the _ burnt_ offering and _ DOM the _ wood(s) and _ DOM the _ stones and _ DOM the _ dust and _ DOM the _ waters which was _ in_ trench it _ licked_ up39 And _ all _ of_ he/it _ sawthe _ people and _ they _ fellon faces _ of_ their and _ they _ saidYHWH he the _ ʼElohīm YHWH he the _ ʼElohīm .
40 And _ ʼĒliyyāh _ he/it _ saidto/for _ them seize DOM the _ prophets_ of(the) _ Baˊal anyone not let _ him_ escapefrom _ them and _ they _ seized _ themand _ he _ brought _ them_ downʼĒliyyāh to the _ wadi_ ofQīshōn and _ he _ slaughtered _ themthere .
41 And _ ʼĒliyyāh _ he/it _ saidto _ ʼAḩʼāⱱ go _ upeat and _ drink if/because the _ sound_ ofthe _ noise_ of(the) _ rain .
42 And _ ʼAḩʼāⱱ _ he _ went_ upto _ eat and _ to _ drink and _ ʼĒliyyāh he _ went_ upto the _ top_ of(the) _ Karmel/(Carmel) and _ he _ bent_ downtowards _ land and _ he/it _ assignedhis/its _ faces/face between knees _ of_ his [fn ] .
43 And _ he/it _ saidto servant _ of_ his go _ upplease look the _ direction_ ofthe _ seaand _ he/it _ ascendedand _ he _ lookedand _ he/it _ saidthere _ is _ notanything and _ he/it _ saidgo _ backseven times .
44 And _ he/it _ wasat _ and _ he/it _ saidthere a _ cloudsmall like _ the _ palm _ ofa _ personis _ coming_ upfrom _ the _ sea and _ he/it _ saidgo _ upsay to ʼAḩʼāⱱ harness and _ go _ downand _ not it _ will _ hold_ you_ backthe _ rain .
45 And _ he/it _ wasuntil thus and _ unto thus and _ the _ heavens they _ grew_ darkclouds and _ spirit and _ he/it _ wasrain great and _ ʼAḩʼāⱱ _ he _ rodeand _ he/it _ wentto _ Yizrə ˊʼēl /(Jezreel) .
46 And _ the _ hand_ ofYHWH it _ wasto ʼĒliyyāh and _ he _ girded_ uploins _ of_ his and _ he _ ranto _ (the) _ face_ of/in_ front_ of/beforeʼAḩʼāⱱ until your(ms) _ going to _ Yizrə ˊʼēl /(Jezreel) .
