5 And _ ʼAḩʼāⱱ _ he/it _ saidto ˊOⱱadyāh go on _ the_ earth to all _ ofthe _ springs_ ofthe _ waters and _ near/to all _ ofthe _ valleys perhaps we _ will_ findgrass and _ keep _ alivehorse and _ mules and _ not we _ will_ cut_ offsome _ of_ the _ animals .
6 And _ divided to/for _ them DOM the _ earth/land to _ pass in/on/at/with _ it ʼAḩʼāⱱ he _ wentin/on/at/with _ way one for _ him/it _ being _ aloneand _ ˊOⱱadyāh he _ wentin/on/at/with _ way one for _ him/it _ being _ alone7 And _ he/it _ wasˊOⱱadyāh in/on/at/with _ way and _ see/lo/see ʼĒliyyāh to _ met _ him and _ recognized _ him and _ fell on his/its _ faces/face and _ he/it _ saidyou [is] _ thismy _ master ʼĒliyyāh .

12 And _ it _ wasI I _ will_ gofrom _ with _ you and _ spirit of _ YHWH carry _ you to where not I _ knowand _ come to _ announce to _ ʼAḩʼāⱱ and _ not find _ you and _ kill _ me and _ servant _ of_ your [is] _ fearingDOM YHWH from _ youth _ of_ my .
13 Not has _ it_ been_ toldto _ master _ of_ my DOM [that] _ whichI _ didin/on/at/with _ killed ʼĪzeⱱel/(Jezebel) DOM the _ prophets_ ofYHWH and _ hid of _ prophets _ ofof _ YHWH one _ hundredman fifty fifty man in/on/at/with _ cave and _ provided _ them food and _ water .
14 And _ now you [are] _ sayinggo say to _ master _ of_ your here ʼĒliyyāh and _ kill _ me .

16 And _ ˊOⱱadyāh _ he/it _ wentto _ ʼAḩʼāⱱ _ meet and _ told to _ him/it and _ ʼAḩʼāⱱ _ he/it _ wentto _ ʼĒliyyāh _ meet .
17 And _ he/it _ waswhen _ saw ʼAḩʼāⱱ DOM ʼĒliyyāh and _ ʼAḩʼāⱱ _ he/it _ saidto _ him/it you [is] _ thisOh _ [you_ who]_ troubleYisrāʼēl /(Israel) .
18 And _ he/it _ saidnot I _ have_ troubledDOM Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) if/because (if) you and _ house _ ofI _ will_ show_ you(ms) in/on/at/with _ abandoned _ you _ allDOM the _ commandments_ ofYHWH and _ went after the _ Baals .
19 And _ now send gather to _ me DOM all _ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) to the _ mountain_ ofthe _ Karmel/(Carmel) and _ DOM the _ prophets_ ofthe _ Baˊal four hundred(s) and _ fifty and _ prophets _ ofthe _ ʼₐshērāh four hundred(s) [who] _ eat_ ofthe _ table_ ofzeⱱel .
20 And _ ʼAḩʼāⱱ _ sent in _ all the _ people_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ assembled DOM the _ prophets to the _ mountain_ ofthe _ Karmel/(Carmel) .
21 And _ ʼĒliyyāh _ came _ nearto all _ ofthe _ people and _ he/it _ saiduntil when [will] _ you_ all[be] _ limpingon the _ two_ ofthe _ opinions if YHWH the _ ʼElohīm walk after _ him and _ if the _ Baˊal walk after _ him and _ not they _ answeredthe _ people DOM _ him/it a _ word22 And _ ʼĒliyyāh _ he/it _ saidto the _ people I I _ am_ lefta _ prophetto/for _ YHWH by _ myself _ ofand _ prophets _ ofthe _ Baˊal’s [are] _ fourhundred(s) and _ fifty man .
23 And _ they _ giveto/for _ us two young _ bullsand _ choose to/for _ them the _ bull the _ one and _ cut _ inpieces_ it and _ put on the _ wood and _ fire not they _ will_ setand _ I I _ will_ prepareDOM the _ bull the _ one and _ lay on the _ wood and _ fire not I _ will_ set24 And _ call in/on _ name _ ofgod _ of_ your _ all’sand _ I I _ will_ callin/on/at/with _ name _ ofYHWH and _ it _ wasthe _ ʼElohīm who he _ will_ answerin/on/at/with _ fire he the _ ʼElohīm and _ all _ of_ answered the _ people and _ they _ said[is] _ goodthe _ word .
25 And _ ʼĒliyyāh _ he/it _ saidto _ prophets _ ofthe _ Baˊal choose to/for _ you _ allthe _ bull the _ one and _ prepare first if/because you _ allthe _ many and _ call in/on _ name _ ofgod _ of_ your _ all’sand _ fire not you _ all_ will_ set26 And _ they _ tookDOM the _ bull which someone _ gaveto/for _ them and _ prepared and _ called in/on/at/with _ name _ ofthe _ Baˊal from _ the _ morning and _ unto the _ noon to _ say the _ Baˊal answer _ us and _ there _ was_ noa _ voiceand _ no [one _ who]_ answeredand _ limped at the _ altar which he _ had_ made27 And _ he/it _ wasin/on/at/with _ noon and _ mocked (is) _ in_ them ʼĒliyyāh and _ he/it _ saidcall _ outin/on/at/with _ voice great if/because [is] _ a_ godhe if/because musing and _ because/when a _ going_ awayto _ him/it and _ because/when a _ journeyto _ him/it perhaps [is] _ sleepinghe and _ awakened .

29 And _ he/it _ wasas _ passed the _ midday and _ raved until to _ offering the _ evening _ sacrificeand _ there _ was_ noa _ voiceand _ no [one _ who]_ answeredand _ no attentiveness .
30 And _ ʼĒliyyāh _ he/it _ saidto/from _ all/each/any/every the _ people draw _ nearto _ me and _ all _ of_ came _ closerthe _ people to _ him/it and _ repaired DOM the _ altar_ ofYHWH the _ torn _ down31 And _ ʼĒliyyāh _ he/it _ tooktwo _ plusten stones according _ to_ number _ ofthe _ tribes_ ofthe _ sons_ ofqoⱱ/(Jacob) whom the _ word_ ofit _ had_ comeof _ YHWH to _ him/it to _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) _ say it _ will_ bename _ of_ your .
32 And _ built DOM the _ stones an _ altarin/on _ name _ ofYHWH and _ he/it _ madea _ trenchas _ hold _ oftwo _ seahsseed around about _ the_ altar .
33 And _ arranged DOM the _ wood and _ cut _ inpiecesDOM the _ bull and _ he/it _ assignedon the _ wood .
34 And _ he/it _ saidfill four jars water and _ pour on the _ burnt _ offeringand _ on the _ wood [fn ] and _ he/it _ saiddo _ [it]_ againand _ did _ asecond_ timeand _ he/it _ saiddo _ [it]_ a_ third_ timeand _ did _ athird_ time35 And _ ran the _ waters around to _ the_ altar and _ also DOM the _ trench he _ filledwater .
36 And _ he/it _ wasin/on/at/with _ offering the _ oblation and _ ʼĒliyyāh _ came _ nearthe _ prophet and _ said Oh _ YHWH the _ god_ ofʼAⱱrāhām Yiʦḩāq/(Isaac) and _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) the _ day let _ it_ be_ knownif/because _ thatyou [are] _ godin/on/at/with _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ I servant _ of_ your and _ in/on/at/with _ word _ of_ your [fn ] I _ have_ doneDOM all _ ofthe _ things the _ these .
37 Answer _ me Oh _ YHWH answer _ me and _ know the _ people the _ this if/because _ thatyou Oh _ YHWH the _ ʼElohīm and _ you(ms) you _ have_ turned_ aroundDOM hearts _ of_ their backwards .
38 And _ the _ fire_ of_ fell of _ YHWH and _ she/it _ ateDOM the _ burnt _ offeringand _ DOM the _ wood and _ DOM the _ stones and _ DOM the _ dust and _ DOM the _ waters which in/on/at/with _ trench it _ licked_ up39 And _ all _ of_ he/it _ sawthe _ people and _ they _ fellon faces _ of_ their and _ they _ saidYHWH he the _ ʼElohīm YHWH he the _ ʼElohīm .
40 And _ ʼĒliyyāh _ he/it _ saidto/for _ them seize DOM the _ prophets_ ofthe _ Baˊal anyone not let _ him_ escapefrom _ them and _ seized _ them and _ brought _ down_ them ʼĒliyyāh to the _ wadi_ ofQīshōn and _ slaughtered _ them there .
41 And _ ʼĒliyyāh _ he/it _ saidto _ ʼAḩʼāⱱ go _ upeat and _ drink if/because the _ sound_ ofthe _ noise_ ofthe _ rain .
42 And _ ʼAḩʼāⱱ _ went _ upto _ eat and _ to _ drink and _ ʼĒliyyāh he _ went_ upto the _ top_ ofthe _ Karmel/(Carmel) and _ bent _ downtowards _ land and _ he/it _ assignedhis/its _ faces/face between knees _ of_ his [fn ] .
43 And _ he/it _ saidto servant _ of_ his go _ upplease look [the] _ direction_ of[the] _ seaand _ he/it _ ascendedand _ looked and _ he/it _ saidthere _ [is]_ notanything and _ he/it _ saidgo _ backseven times .
44 And _ he/it _ wasin/on/at/with _ seventh _ timeand _ he/it _ saidthere a _ cloudsmall as _ as_ hand _ ofa _ person[is] _ coming_ upfrom _ sea and _ he/it _ saidgo _ upsay to ʼAḩʼāⱱ harness and _ go _ downand _ not stop _ you the _ rain .
45 And _ he/it _ wasuntil thus and _ unto thus and _ the _ sky they _ grew_ darkclouds and _ spirit and _ he/it _ wasrain great and _ ʼAḩʼāⱱ _ rode and _ he/it _ wentYizrə ˊʼēl /(Jezreel) _ to .
