OET (OET-RV) On the thirteenth day of the month Adar, the armies met in battle. Nicanor’s army was defeated, and he himself was the first to fall in the battle.
BrLXX Καὶ συνῆψαν αἱ παρεμβολαὶ εἰς πόλεμον τῇ τρισκαιδεκάτῃ τοῦ μηνὸς Ἄδαρ, καὶ συνετρίβη ἡ παρεμβολὴ Νικάνορος, καὶ ἔπεσεν αὐτὸς πρῶτος ἐν τῷ πολέμῳ.
(Kai sunaʸpsan hai parembolai eis polemon taʸ triskaidekataʸ tou maʸnos Adar, kai sunetribaʸ haʸ parembolaʸ Nikanoros, kai epesen autos prōtos en tōi polemōi. )
