ק֚וֹל יִֽלְלַ֣ת הָרֹעִ֔ים כִּ֥י שֻׁדְּדָ֖ה אַדַּרְתָּ֑ם ק֚וֹל שַׁאֲגַ֣ת כְּפִירִ֔ים כִּ֥י שֻׁדַּ֖ד גְּא֥וֹן הַיַּרְדֵּֽן
sound/voice wail_of of,the_shepherds that/for/because/then/when ruined splendor_of,their sound/voice roar_of lions that/for/because/then/when ruined thickets_of of,the_Jordan
These two clauses mean basically the same thing. The second emphasizes the meaning of the first by repeating the same idea with different words. The word for glory here is a lot like the word for the “majestic ones” in verse 2. Zechariah repeats this idea to show that everything great and important, both the leaders and the land, has been completely ruined. If it would be helpful to your readers, you could combine them and express the emphasis in another way. Alternate translation: [Listen to the shepherds wailing and the young lions roaring, for everything of value to them has been utterly devastated]
Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / metaphor
יִֽלְלַ֣ת הָרֹעִ֔ים & שַׁאֲגַ֣ת כְּפִירִ֔ים
wail_of of,the_shepherds & roar_of lions
Zechariah is speaking of the rulers of the land as if they were shepherds and young lions that were wailing and roaring over what they had lost. Your language may have a comparable expression that you can use in your translation, or you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [the crying of the rulers … the mourning of the powerful men]
Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / idiom
גְּא֥וֹן הַיַּרְדֵּֽן
thickets_of of,the_Jordan
Zechariah is using the pride of the Jordan as a common expression of the culture to mean the dense thickets of trees and bushes that grow along the Jordan River. If this phrase does not have that meaning for your readers, you could use a comparable expression from your language that does have that meaning, or you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [the dense thickets along the Jordan River are devastated]

⇔ ≈ Listen to the young lions roaring,
⇔ ≈ because the pride of the Yordan river has been devastated.
Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
