As in [4:6](../04/06.md), the word iniquity here could represent either the sin itself or the punishment for it. In this context, the sense is most likely that Zion’s punishment is complete—Yahweh has finished disciplining his people and will not send them into exile again. Alternate translation: [Your punishment is complete, daughter of Zion] or [You have finished serving your sentence, people of Zion]
Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / idiom
פָּקַ֤ד עֲוֺנֵךְ֙
(Some words not found in UHB: completed iniquity_of,your daughter_of Tsiyyōn/(Zion) not longer to,take,you_into_exile punish iniquity_of,your daughter_of ʼEdōm expose on/upon/above/on_account_of//he/it_went_in sins_of,your )
The writer is using He will visit your iniquity as a common expression of the culture to mean that Yahweh will punish Edom for their wrongdoing. If this phrase does not have that meaning for your readers, you could use a comparable expression from your language that does have that meaning, or you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [He will punish you for your iniquity] or [He will hold you accountable for your wrongdoing]

Here the writer is speaking as if Edom’s sins were hidden things that Yahweh will uncover for all to see. Your language may have a comparable expression that you can use in your translation, or you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [he will expose your sins for all to see]

Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
