OET (OET-RV) But when no one answered, he opened it, went into the bedchamber, and found him cast upon the threshold dead; and his head had been taken from him.
BrLXX Ὡς δὲ οὐδεὶς ἐπήκουσε, διαστείλας εἰσῆλθεν εἰς τὸν κοιτῶνα, καὶ εὗρεν αὐτὸν ἐπὶ τῆς χελωνίδος ἐῤῥιμεμένον νεκρὸν, καὶ ἡ κεφαλὴ αὐτοῦ ἀφῄρητο ἀπʼ αὐτοῦ.
(Hōs de oudeis epaʸkouse, diasteilas eisaʸlthen eis ton koitōna, kai heuren auton epi taʸs ⱪelōnidos eɽɽimemenon nekron, kai haʸ kefalaʸ autou afaʸraʸto apʼ autou. )
BrTr But because none answered, he opened it, and went into the bedchamber, and found him cast upon the floor dead, and his head was taken from him.
