BrLXX Οἱ δὲ ἐκ τῆς ἄκρας ἐν Ἱερουσαλὴμ ἐκωλύοντο ἐκπορεύεσθαι καὶ εἰσπορεύεσθαι εἰς τὴν χώραν, καὶ ἀγοράζειν καὶ πωλεῖν, καὶ ἐπείνασαν σφόδρα, καὶ ἀπώλοντο ἐξ αὐτῶν ἱκανοὶ τῇ λιμῷ.
(Hoi de ek taʸs akras en Hierousalaʸm ekōluonto ekporeuesthai kai eisporeuesthai eis taʸn ⱪōran, kai agorazein kai pōlein, kai epeinasan sfodra, kai apōlonto ex autōn hikanoi taʸ limōi. )
BrTr They also of the tower in Jerusalem were kept so strait, that they could neither come forth, nor go into the country, nor buy, nor sell: wherefore they were in great distress for want of victuals, and a great number of them perished through famine.
