OET (OET-RV) Now the people of the citadel sent to Tryphon ambassadors, urging him to come to them through the wilderness, and to send them food.
BrLXX Οἱ δὲ ἐκ τῆς ἄκρας ἀπέστελλον πρὸς Τρύφωνα πρεσβευτὰς κατασπεύδοντας αὐτὸν τοῦ ἐλθεῖν προὺς αὐτὸν διὰ τῆς ἐρήμου, καὶ· ἀποστεῖλαι αὐτοῖς τροφάς.
(Hoi de ek taʸs akras apestellon pros Trufōna presbeutas kataspeudontas auton tou elthein prous auton dia taʸs eraʸmou, kai; aposteilai autois trofas. )
BrTr Now they that were in the tower sent messengers unto Tryphon, to the end that he should hasten his coming unto them by the wilderness, and send them victuals.
