וְאִם־לֹ֨א תַגִּ֣יע יָדוֹ֮ דֵּ֣י שֶׂה֒
and=if not she_can_afford his/its=hand amount_of lamb
The expression his hand does not reach is an idiom that refers to being unable to afford to offer an animal from one’s own flock or to purchase another’s flock animal. If your language has a similar idiomatic expression, consider using it here. Otherwise, if it would be helpful in your language, consider stating the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [But if he is unable to offer his own flock animal or to purchase someone else’s animal]
Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / metonymy
וְהֵבִ֨יא אֶת־אֲשָׁמ֜וֹ
and,bring DOM penalty_of,his
See how you translated the similar expression in [5:6](../05/06.md).
Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / idiom
בְנֵֽי־יוֹנָ֖ה

See how you translated the similar terms in [1:14](../01/14.md).
5:7 The sin offerings included both a portion as a burnt offering and a portion that was first offered, then given to the priests (cp. 4:22-35; 6:24-30). Because of their small size, two birds were required—one for each type of offering.

Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
Acknowledgements: The Hebrew text, lemmas, and morphology are all thanks to the OSHB and some of the glosses are from Macula Hebrew.
