BrTr And if he cannot afford a sheep, he shall bring for his sin which he has sinned, two turtle-doves or two young pigeons to the Lord; one for a sin-offering, and the other for a burnt-offering.

ULT But if his hand does not touch enough flock animals, then he shall bring his guilt that he sinned two turtledoves or two sons of a pigeon to Yahweh, one for a sin offering and one for a burnt offering.

5.7 Sin autem non potuerit, etc. ID. Hoc adjiciamus, ut si quid horum princeps peccaverit, hircum offerat de capris, condignam scilicet pœnitentiam sibi, qui nec peccare debuit, nec communicare aliis, nec subditos ad peccandum provocare.
