OET (OET-RV) When Seleucus was deceased, and Antiochus, who was called Epiphanes, succeeded to the kingdom, Jason the brother of Onias supplanted his brother in the high priesthood,
BrLXX Μεταλλάξαντος δὲ τὸν βίον Σελεύκου, καὶ παραλαβόντος τὴν βασιλείαν Ἀντιόχου τοῦ προσαγορευθέντος Ἐπιφανοῦς, ὑπενόθευσεν Ἰάσων ὁ ἀδελφὸς Ὀνίου τὴν ἀρχιερωσύνην,
(Metallaxantos de ton bion Seleukou, kai paralabontos taʸn basileian Antioⱪou tou prosagoreuthentos Epifanous, hupenotheusen Yasōn ho adelfos Oniou taʸn arⱪierōsunaʸn, )
BrTr But after the death of Seleucus, when Antiochus, called Epiphanes, took the kingdom, Jason the brother of Onias laboured underhand to be high priest,
