OET (OET-RV) In a total of three days, eighty thousand were destroyed, of which forty thousand were slain in close combat, and no fewer were sold into slavery than slain.
BrLXX Ὀκτὼ δὲ μυριάδες ἐν ταῖς πάσαις ἡμέραις τρισὶ κατεφθάρησαν, τέσσαρες μὲν ἐν χειρῶν νομαῖς, οὐκ ἧττον δὲ τῶν ἐσφαγμένων ἐπράθησαν.
(Oktō de muriades en tais pasais haʸmerais trisi kateftharaʸsan, tessares men en ⱪeirōn nomais, ouk haʸtton de tōn esfagmenōn eprathaʸsan. )
BrTr And there were destroyed within the space of three whole days fourscore thousand, whereof forty thousand were slain in the conflict; and no fewer sold than slain.
