OET (OET-LV) And_he_repeated and_he_touched (in)_me like_the_appearance_of humankind and_he_strengthened_me.
In this long final vision, Daniel was told of events leading up to the end of the age.
The angelic figure again touched and encouraged Daniel.
Again the one with the likeness of a man touched me and strengthened me.
¶ Then the person who looked like a man touched me again and strengthened me.
¶ Once more the person who looked human touched me and made me stronger.
¶ Then the figure like a man reached out and touched me again. I became stronger.
Again the one with the likeness of a man touched me and strengthened me: The same angelic figure that looked like a man once again touched Daniel. This made Daniel feel stronger.
Again the one with the likeness of a man touched me: The Hebrew word that the BSB translates as Again is a verb meaning “and he repeated.” The figure dressed in linen repeated the action from 10:16. There it is said that he touched Daniel on the lips. Here the text does not say where he touched Daniel. If you must make that explicit, it is best to indicate that he touched Daniel in the same way, on the mouth.
and strengthened me: The BSB literally represents the Hebrew here. This strengthening could have been the result of the words that follow (10:19a–b) as well as the touch.

Alternate translation: “the one who looked like a human”

Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
Acknowledgements: The Hebrew text, lemmas, and morphology are all thanks to the OSHB and some of the glosses are from Macula Hebrew.
