OET (OET-RV) ¶ This then having been the account of the attempt of Nicanor, and the city having from those times been held by the Hebrews, I also will here make an end of my book.
BrLXX Τῶν οὖν κατὰ Νικάνορα χωρησάντων οὕτω, καὶ ἀπʼ ἐκείνων τῶν καιρῶν κρατηθείσης τῆς πόλεως ὑπὸ τῶν Ἑβραίων. Καὶ αὐτὸς αὐτόθι καταπαύσω τὸν λόγον.
(Tōn oun kata Nikanora ⱪōraʸsantōn houtō, kai apʼ ekeinōn tōn kairōn krataʸtheisaʸs taʸs poleōs hupo tōn Hebraiōn. Kai autos autothi katapausō ton logon. )
BrTr Thus went it with Nicanor: and from that time forth the Hebrews had the city in their power. And here will I make an end.
