BrLXX Καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ, φυλὴν καὶ πατριὰν σὺ ζητεῖς; ἢ μίσθιον, ὃς συμπορεύσεται μετὰ τοῦ υἱοῦ σου; καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ Τωβὶτ, βούλομαι, ἀδελφὲ, ἐπιγνῶναι τὸ γένος σου, καὶ τὸ ὄνομα.
(Kai eipen autōi, fulaʸn kai patrian su zaʸteis; aʸ misthion, hos sumporeusetai meta tou huiou sou; kai eipen autōi Tōbit, boulomai, adelfe, epignōnai to genos sou, kai to onoma. )
BrTr To whom he said, Dost thou seek for a tribe or family, or an hired man to go with thy son? Then Tobit said unto him, I would know, brother, thy kindred and name.
WEBBE He said to him, “Do you seek a tribe and a family, or a hired man which will go with your son?”
¶ And Tobit said to him, “I want to know, brother, your kindred and your name.”
KJB-1611 To whom hee said, Doest thou seeke for a tribe or family, or an hired man to goe with thy sonne? Then Tobit said vnto him, I would know, brother, thy kinred, and name.
