OET (OET-LV)Earnestly send_forward Zaʸnas the lawyer and Apollōs, in_order_that nothing may_be_lacking to_them.

OET (OET-RV)Help by sending Zenas the lawyer and Apollos on their way so that they won’t be needing anything.

uW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / explicit

σπουδαίως πρόπεμψον

earnestly send_forward

The implication here is that to Diligently send these men is to help and equip them. You could include this information if that would be helpful to your readers. Alternate translation: “Give supplies for traveling to”

Note 2 topic: translate-names

Ζηνᾶν & Ἀπολλῶν

Zenas & Apollos

Zenos and Apollos are names of men.

καὶ Ἀπολλῶν

and Apollos

Alternate translation: “and also Apollos”

Note 3 topic: grammar-connect-logic-goal

ἵνα μηδὲν αὐτοῖς λείπῃ

in_order_that nothing ˱to˲_them /may_be/_lacking

Here, so that indicates the way in which Titus is to send off these men. Alternate translation: “in such a way that they lack nothing”

Note 4 topic: figures-of-speech / doublenegatives

ἵνα μηδὲν αὐτοῖς λείπῃ

in_order_that nothing ˱to˲_them /may_be/_lacking

You can state this positively. Alternate translation: “so that they have everything that they need”

TSN Tyndale Study Notes:

3:13 Zenas and Apollos were involved in spreading the Good News, and they might have been the couriers of this letter to Titus.
• Zenas was probably an expert in Roman law or a Roman jurist (the same word for lawyer is in Luke 7:30; 10:25); his pagan name (“gift of Zeus”) makes it unlikely that he was an expert in Jewish law.
• Apollos is presumably the same man as in Acts 18:24; 19:1; 1 Cor 1:12; 3:4-6, 22; 4:6; 16:12.
• everything they need: See 1 Tim 3:2; 3 Jn 1:5-8; cp. Rom 15:24; 1 Cor 16:6, 11; 2 Cor 1:16.
